Description

This handy brake fluid tester is suitable for determining the quality of DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 brake fluids. It measures the water content in the brake fluid and indicates the quality by means of three light-emitting diodes.

Application
Open the cover of the brake fluid reservoir and pull off the cap of the tester. Now turn on the tester by briefly pressing the button. The test class can be set by holding down the key for longer. After the tester is set correctly, immerse the test probes completely in the brake fluid. The test result can be read off after about two seconds by the three LEDs which indicate the quality.
A functional test can be performed by holding the tester in a vessel with water. The test procedure is the same as for the brake fluid test. All diodes must light up.
