Alcar S7A103 Motorcycle universal sensor
The new ALCAR Sensor Motorbike
With the new ALCAR Sensor MB, a universal sensor for motorcycles, ALCAR offers a cloneable and programmable TPMS sensor for motorcycles in the European aftermarket. The universal sensor can be mounted either as a valve-based model (two valve hole versions: 8.5 mm and 11.5 mm) or as a so-called bolt-in version that can be screwed directly onto the inside of the motorcycle rim. The new ALCAR Sensor MB is a universal sensor and can be freely programmed for any motorcycle model. The current coverage includes all BMW, KTM, Triumph, MV Agusta, Indian and Harley Davidson models and is constantly being expanded.
The S7A103 has an angle valve for an 8.5 mm hole in the rim and is bolted directly to the rim. This sensor fits KTM, MV Agusta and Triumph
The service life of the sensor battery corresponds to the OE equipment, here the manufacturers specify 5 years, whereby the usage time is to be assumed, due to the seasonal use of a motorcycle, the usage time itself can be higher, the installed battery cells have a very low self-discharge, the sensors themselves consume almost no power in standby mode.
The exact list of applications can be found in the download area below. As this is a programmable universal sensor for motorcycles, it is important that it is programmed before it is used for the first time. This can be done with workshop devices from Ateq (VT56, VT57, VT67 and others including the licensed devices from Huf, Alcar and VDO/Continental) and Bartec. These devices should be standard in well-equipped tire stores and motorcycle workshops by now.
When ordering the sensor, please give us the exact motorcycle type including year of manufacture. If you also know the ID of the sensor, we can program exact clones, which is practical when using several wheelsets, for example, because the wheel can then be used directly without a teach-in run.
